Ahead of the intense clash against India in the Champions Trophy Group ‘A’. Pakistan's fast bowler (Haris Rauf) reassured everyone that the team is approaching the match with a calm mindset.
He stated that there is no added pressure and the players are treating it like any other game. Their focus is solely on performing well with a clear understanding that this is another opportunity to showcase their skills.
Rauf pointed out that Pakistan has had positive results in Dubai in the past like winning twice against India at the venue. He highlighted that the team is well versed with the conditions in Dubai which should give them an advantage on match day.
“We've had success here before and the conditions are nothing new to us”, Rauf said. “We'll rely on our experience to navigate the match."

Haris Rauf emphasized the importance of adapting to the conditions on the day of the game when asked about Pakistan's strategy for the match. He mentioned that while there are general plans so the team will make final adjustments based on the pitch and weather conditions in Dubai.
“Our game plan will depend on the conditions we face on match day", he said. “We'll assess the pitch and adapt our strategy accordingly.”
This adaptability is crucial in Dubai where the pitch can sometimes behave unpredictably and Rauf's comments reflect the team's readiness to make necessary changes to their approach.
Rauf Optimistic Despite Missing Key Batsmen
While Pakistan will miss two of their in-form top-order batsmen (Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub). Haris Rauf remains positive about the team’s chances. He acknowledged the absence of the two key players but was quick to note that Pakistan has plenty of depth in their batting lineup.
“It's unfortunate to miss Fakhar and Saim who were both in great form but we have others who can step up”, Rauf explained. “We’re confident in our squad's ability to handle the situation.”
